Pico Envirotec Inc. (PEI) is pleased to announce a software upgrade for the fully digital GRS10 Gamma Spectrometers which eliminates the shortcomings observed from direct energy calibration expressed in Poisson channel to channel noise distribution. Upgraded Gamma Spectrometers will issue GRS10PLUS name included in the version string.

On July 18th 2007 Pico Envirotec Inc and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) entered into a value added reseller agreement.
The agreement affords the use of the SAIC-Exploranium DSP gamma-spectrometer technology in Pico Envirotec products for the Geophysical and Environmental markets.
